I have an EditText where users can set text to bold, italic, etc but I
can't figure out how to save that text with style in db. I use getText
but that only returns text and no style info.
Any help is appreciated.

We don't currently have a general flat rich text format for android. You
can use android.text.TextUtils.htmlEncode and android.text.Html for
converting to/from HTML, but those may not be able to represent all of the
style information in your text view.

1. repo fail

When I use "repo" to get source code by the following command:
repo init -u git:// -b

It failed by the following message:
/home/xxx/bin/repo: line 1: !DOCTYPE: No such file or directory
/home/xxx/bin/repo: line 2: syntax error near unexpected token '<'
/home/xxx/bin/repo: line 2: <HTML><HEAD><TITLE>ERROR Messge</TITLE>

2. is there any way to change the function of the hardware buttons?

You can do whatever you want, just ensure that the corresponding button
press doesn't send the wrong scancode from the kernel in your driver.
Of course, you may need to hack the framework to recognize these new buttons
to launch interesting intents too.
