Fix reboot on G1 connect?

by John » Tue, 30 Dec 2008 03:19:02 GMT

 Hi. This seems to be related to using the G1 on a USB 1.0 or 1.1
port. It seems the device does not yet support data transfer or
debugging on anything other than USB 2.0.

Fix reboot on G1 connect?

 Are you using Windows XP SP1 or SP2 by any chance? If yes, you
probably need to update the *windows* base USB driver (not the android
one).

The G1 works fine with a USB 1.0/1.1 port.

2. Problem or bug with repaint or redraw on View

Hi,

I am working on one application which uses IP/network cameras. When I
am trying to read .CGI

public class MyView extends ImageView

{
public void onDraw(Canvas canvas)

{

Drawable image = getDrawable();
url = new URL("http://82.129.129.26/axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi");
                  urlConn = url.openConnection();
                  Log.i("ImgView", "Connecting......");
                  urlConn.connect();
                  isConnectionOpen = true;

                  ctype = urlConn.getContentType();
if (ctype.contains("multipart/x-mixed-replace"))
              {
//loop
do{
       ssplit.skipToBoundary("Content-type: image/jpeg");
      -   ---------some other logic
       canvas.drawBitmap(bitMMap,0, 0, myImagePaint);
        image.draw(canvas);
}
while(true);

}

}

How to redraw the image without calling the invalidate() or any other
way to solve this issue?
Please help me.

thanks
Satay
