 Hi,

I am trying to write a JUnit testcase for which I need to launch the
image gallery through code. I tried searching online for the intent
needed to launch the image gallery but could not find anything. If
anyone knows it, can you please help me out?

Thanks,

Glenys

 You mean the Pictures app?

If you want to launch the app to browse through the images and fiddle
with them, if you examine the log when you launch it manually, an
Activity is started with an Intent like:

new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, Uri.parse(
  "content://media/internal/images/media"))

If you want to more generically launch whatever the current image
picker is (and hope to get something back), you can use:

Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_GET_CONTENT);
intent.setType("image/*");

1. How to launch emulator from the built source?

Hi All,

I have downloaded the Android Sources using the repo tool.
Built the image. Now I have the following files in the folder
"/myandroid/out/target/product/generic/"
1) ramdisk.img
2) userdata.img
3) system.img
4) userdata-qemu.img.

Where & How to launch the emulator using these binaries?
Please tell me how to use goldfish.

Thank you,
Ram.

2. Dynamic Map Overlays

I have a map with ten overlays which signify map pins. Occasionally I
would like to reposition the overlays to mark a different location on
the map. How do I change the GeoPoint position of a map overlay after
I have already created it and added it to map.getOverlays() ?

I have spent absolutely ages trying to achieve this functionality - I
just hope it is possible!

Many thanks
