 Hello,

               I want is to automatically compose an e-mail with a
subject line, recipient address and an image attachment, and an e-mail
app should then pop up with this automatically composed message, to
let the user decide whether to send, edit or discard the message.

Thanks

 Hi Satish

Check this working for me:

public void launchEmailActivity(){

                final  Intent emailIntent = new
Intent(android.content.Intent.ACTION_SEND);
                emailIntent .setType("plain/text");
                emailIntent .putExtra(android.content.Intent.EXTRA_EMAIL, new
String[]{""});
                emailIntent .putExtra(android.content.Intent.EXTRA_SUBJECT,
"Test
Subject");
                emailIntent .putExtra(android.content.Intent.EXTRA_TEXT,
"Testing
email text");
                this.startActivity(Intent.createChooser(emailIntent, "Send
mail..."));
        }

Best Regards,

1. Android desktop and Application.

Hi,

I want to reduce the application size but not the Desktop size. I
tried changing code in AndroidActivityManager.java but it changes the
size of desktop as well.

Is there a way to distinguish between them?

2. Emulator crashed on X86_64 Gentoo (SDK 1.6)

I'm really e{*filter*}d about the Android 1.6 release and its new feature.

I installed android-sdk-1.6 on my Gentoo box using the following
command.

# emerge android-sdk

It successfully installed and I could create an AVD named TestAVD
using the "android" command.

But when I tried to run emulator with TestAVD, I got a Segmentation
fault message and the emulator crashed.

Does anyone run android 1.6 emulator successfully on 64bit Linux ?
