Disabling default emulator builds

look at external/qemu/Android.mk and had some checks to not build the
emulator if some custom env. variable is defined.
that should be largely sufficient for your needs.

However, be aware that part of the build of certain products require running
'dexopt' within the emulator to generate optimized versions of the system
dex files. There is a env/configuration variable to disable this though. I
believe you should try WITH_DEXREOPT=false or something equivalent. Seach
for DEXREOPT in the build files for more details.

Hope this helps

2. force focus on item in ListView

ListView will not give focus to its items, unless there is a focusable
element (for instance a button) in one of the said items. The items
themselves don't get focused, they get *selected*.
