1. Problem In a call Notification( Android 1.5 and Eclipse 3.4.2 )

Hi,

I am new to Android Development. I used a Android 1.5 and Eclipse
3.4.2 and i created a call notification application.if i made a call
from the Eclipse DDMS at that timeit throws an error message in the
Logcat.

09-01 12:36:54.517: ERROR/MediaPlayerService(542): Couldn't open fd
for content://settings/system/ringtone
09-01 12:36:54.517: ERROR/MediaPlayer(617): Unable to to create media
player
09-01 12:36:54.528: ERROR/RingtoneManager(617): Failed to open
ringtone content://settings/system/ringtone

Also, i am not getting the full ringtone. It Starts with the Beep
sound and it stops the ringing sound.
In my code i can able to identify the call the Phone Idle state. But i
cant able to identify the CALL_STATE_OFFHOOK and CALL_STATE_RINGING.

is there any problem in my code or problem in creating an Emulator.

I hearwith pasted my Code :

2. HTC's Flash player

Hi everybody,

I'm a Flash developer trying to run Flash apps inside Android/HTC
Hero. AFAIK, there's no official Adobe Flash Player for Android and I
know the Flash player that is in the Hero is HTC's, but the
information out there is really scarce.

I've managed to create an app that runs SWF files following this tutorial:

http://www.flashmobileblog.com/2009/08/12/flash-development-with-android-sdk-1-5/

I have a some technical questions (why it only runs on landscape mode,
any chance to test Flash apps in the emulator, how can a Flash app
communicate with the Android app it's embedded in), but I'm not sure
this is the right place to ask.

To wrap up, has anyone on the list any info regarding Flash and
Android? Is this something the Open Handset Alliance could sort out
with Adobe (via the Open Screen Project) to release a Flash player
within all Android devices and not only HTC's?

Best,

Juan
