I was trying to post a response to a message, but I had forgotten my password.
I clicked the link to reset my password. I filled in the information on the
form and was presented with a captcha. Unfortunately the characters in the
captcha were very hard to read and I couldn't enter the correct chaaracters. I
was eventually successful, but the process was very frustrating. The captcha
system should allow users to select new captcha text if they cannot read the
characters. Most captcha systems allow that.

Problem with Password Reset Captcha

My previous message is not an Android message.

I thought I was sending my previous message to the group moderator,
not to the whole group. Sorry for any confusion.

2. accessing and changing Sync setting for android 1.5, 1.6 and more

There are "RSS reader and clock widget" applications on the market for
Android, but it is a very low percentage. Other developers seem to be
able to think of applications, beyond those, that can be written.

No, the "restriction" will still be there. However, you can write your
own firmware to change whatever you want.

I do not recall "content://sync/settings" ever being part of the SDK.
Would you care to demonstrate that this *was* part of the SDK and
therefore something developers should be using?

If developers were not supposed to be using it in the first place,
please do not complain about it being "removed".
