 Can anyone tell how to scroll text vertically inside a text view.

Having textview inside a scroll view does not help as i have a button
below text view.
So the text overlaps the button below instead of scrolling

 Hello,

I have given textview within scrollview like below

<ScrollView android:id="@+id/textAreaScroller"
    android:layout_width="fill_parent"
    android:layout_height="40px">

<TextView       android:id="@+id/coa"
                         android:layout_width="fill_parent"
                         android:layout_height="40px"
                         android:text="@string/COA"
                         android:fadingEdge="none">
</TextView>
</ScrollView>

I want to set the text and then scroll it within this textview for
which giving only scrollview is not enough because i cant set the text
in scrollview. This is my problem

 Hi,
<ScrollView xmlns:android=" http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" ;
                android:layout_width="fill_parent"
                android:layout_height="fill_parent">

<LinearLayout xmlns:android=" http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" ;
              android:orientation="vertical"
              android:layout_width="fill_parent"
              android:layout_height="fill_parent"
              >
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

</LinearLayout>
</ScrollView>

in the xml ,inside the space you can specify whatever you want.

Thanks,
Dolan.

1. Problem with using setProgressDrawable() on a horizontal progress bar

I want to be able to have a horizontal progress bar, where I can
change the color of the progress bar on the fly.

When I use setProgressDrawable() inside of onCreate(), it works fine.

When I use setProgressDrawable() anywhere else, the progress bar
disappears completely.

For reference, this is the content of the XML file I am setting the
drawable to:

<layer-list xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/
android">
    <item android:id="@android:id/background">
        <shape>
            <corners android:radius="5dip" />
            <gradient
                    android:startColor="#ff9d9e9d"
                    android:centerColor="#ff5a5d5a"
                    android:centerY="0.75"
                    android:endColor="#ff747674"
                    android:angle="270"
            />
        </shape>
    </item>

    <item android:id="@android:id/secondaryProgress">
        <clip>
            <shape>
                <corners android:radius="5dip" />
                <gradient
                        android:startColor="#803e5dbf"
                        android:centerColor="#803e2ebf"
                        android:centerY="0.75"
                        android:endColor="#803e30bf"
                        android:angle="270"
                />
            </shape>
        </clip>
    </item>

    <item android:id="@android:id/progress">
        <clip>
            <shape>
                <corners android:radius="5dip" />
                <gradient
                        android:startColor="#ff3e5dbf"
                        android:centerColor="#ff3e2ebf"
                        android:centerY="0.75"
                        android:endColor="#ff3e30bf"
                        android:angle="270"
                />
            </shape>
        </clip>
    </item>
</layer-list>

Is there some limitations to calling setProgressDrawable()?

2. Javascript event listeners are not called at the document level in a web page

Hi,

I faced the problem same as this topic.

Additionally, even specify the input element, when the cursor is on
edge,
the focus goes to page scroll or url bar.

I wonder if there are any documents describe focus behavior of
Android browser.

Thanks.
