I was pointed to http://www.android.com/branding.html when I had
questions about some different legal issues. I checked and there isn't
anything there regarding the G1 hardware... I guess because T-Mobile
or somebody else probably owns the hardware licensing?

I doubt anybody is really going to get after you about using a 3D
model skinned like a G1, but if you're really worried about it, maybe
one of the T-mobile guys who read Android Developers will get back to
you on it :)

1. Catching "button" behavior

I need to specify the full button images for both the up and down
positions. My impression is that the most probable choice is to use
an custom button based on the ImageView and specify the image for up
and down positions. I am using the OnTouchEvent method to capture the
ACTION_DOWN, but I'm not getting the ACTION_UP event.

Is there a better choice for creating a button that controls the full
button image, catches the Down/Up and can subdivide the down time into
time slices? If not, how do I catch the up event.

My application expects a screen touch on the "button" and not a
keyboard action.

Thx,
Bill

2. Playing of opencore test output .dat file for VIDEO

Hi list,

I am recently testing opencore test code following the document
"quick_start.txt" under "external/opencore" from Android-x86
project(Donut-x86)

Once I executed any test using "make run_pe_test TEST_ARGS=\"-test # #
\"", I got output .dat files under "external\opencore\build_config
\opencore_dynamic\build\pe_test".

The output files are two .dat files. One for autio and the other for
video.
I am able to verify the audio file using any media player application
on Windows or Linux.

But I can't verify the video output file because none of any media
player can play the video output .dat file.

I'd like to know how I can play the output .dat video file.

Thanks in advance
