Grammar for SpeechRecognizer

 Hello,

First, my apology if this question was raised already - tried to find
the related topic, but no luck. The Recognizer class provides a rich
set of APIs covering most of the recognizer setup paramaters. But I
cannot find any API related to bind a recognizer grammar in the
classes. I have an application requiring the infusion of personalized
recognition grammar, which I want to experiment with the Android's
speech support package. Will appreciate any lead related to this issue
- it'd be great if the Android Recognizer engineering team can provide
the info.

1. Fedora Eclipse doesn't let me install Android's ADT plugin

If you don't manage to fix the dependencies, as an alternative, you
can simply get a download of "Eclipse Java" from eclipse.org. You
don't need to mess with whatever is installed on your fedora, simply
unzip it in any directory under your home dir and execute it from
there.

E.g.
$ cd ~
$ mkdir myeclipse
$ cd myeclipse
$ <get linux 32 or 64 bit from
http://eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-ide-java-developers/galileosr1
$ unzip *.zip
$ ./eclipse

Something like that.

2. Getting the key from a ListPreference

When using a PreferenceActivity to do preferences, the
PreferenceScreen can contain a ListPreference. A ListPreference has
an array of keys and an array of values. But the PreferenceActivity
only writes the values to SharedPreferences. How do I get the key of
the item selected from the list? I would have thought this is pretty
fundamental, especially if you want to translate your app.
