I don't know how to use the path setDataSource(path) of MediaPlayer?

 I've found the solution :

It is that I use the name of my sdcard image as my drive name, not the
name of the folder that stock the image. The path look like this : "/
sdcard/dcim/Camera/Songs/track1.mp3" as my image's name is
"sdcard.img".

Anyway thanks for those who have viewed my post :)

 Hi,

The file which present in the path /myandroid/dcim/Camera/Songs/ is in
Linux File System, the Android Music player (i.e Media player) can
only find the files inside the andorid file system (AFS). SO you have
to place that file inside the android file system, I think that;s what
you did by pushing the mp3 file to the sdcard and using that sdcard
path.

I think now you got the clear idea about that.

thanks

1. How to Develop a Custom Soft Keyboard

In v1.5 of the SDK, the release notes include "Support for user
installation of 3rd party keyboards". So the API allows you to design
a custom keyboard layout within a single app. But how might one go
about developing a custom keyboard that a user could download and
install (as opposed to compiling your own build of Android), that
would replace the soft system keyboard in all instances?

Is there any online documentation for how to get started on doing this?

2. Activity and TabActivity...

i have a base class "BaseActivity" and a class that dervies from
TabActivity.

I am doing a bunch of stuff in BaseActivity -- esp. in the overriden
methods so I can avoid having to do it in all my activities
("generalize and promote").

I am finding it a bit of a pain that I have to make all those same
changes/fixes/updates in my TabActivity class as well (since I can't
really change that TabActivity derives from Activity instead of
BaseActivity).

Any thoughts on how to do this better?

tia.
