I am using android's default camera to click images from within my
app. I want to stop the click sound that it does on clicking an image.
Is there a way to stop that click sound programtically?

2. Setting clickable on individual ListView's ChildViews

That's not the way to do it. Simply use an OnItemClickListener on your
ListView and modify your adapter to disable the items you don't want
clickable. Do NOT attempt to change the properties of the children in
this way.
