Does anyone have any working code with the added Bluetooth support?
Also, were you able to get Bluetooth working in the AVD? Thanks.

 Hi jb,

Here is some sample code that uses Bluetooth:
 http://code.google.com/p/apps-for-android/source/browse/trunk/BTClickLinkCompete

This is the demo that was shown in the Eclair 2.0 video. You run the
app on two (or more) Android 2.0 devices, and you can then flick the
Android robot between the screens of the devices as if it were all
just one big screen.

 Hi,

Thanks for the code sample.

I have a problem, though. I've rad that the Emulator does not allow
Bluetooth.

How to test this? I have a G1 from an operator.

Thanks,
Tamas

There is not bluetooth support in the emulator. You will need a device
running android 2.0

1. Official Resource for Dynamic JVM Languages on Dalvik?

Is there an official resource out there, somewhere ... maybe a ticket
on the wishlist of an Android bugtracker ... with the status of
updating Dalvik to be able to run dynamic JVM languages, such as
Jython/JRuby/etc?

Even if no one is currently working on this (and no one is currently
scheduled to work on this, nor is it even being considered), it would
be great to have a link to something that shows the state of this.

I'm a professional Ruby coder, and I get questions *all the time*
about whether or not Android applications can be coded in Ruby.
Everyone knows that Android runs some kind of Java and everyone knows
that Ruby runs on Java, so the question makes quite a bit of sense ...
until you explain how Dalvik works :)

If anyone knows anything about this, I would really appreciate some
kindof educated feedback. There are a number of other threads that
mention the possibility of getting dynamic languages running on
Dalvik ... if someone posts something useful here, I'll post updates
to some of the other threads wish people that are interested:
