 Hello, Guys,
I need to read all Email and Gmail, then remove the specific one(s). But I
found Android doesn't provide APIs to receive Email, and I read Gmail failed as
following:
ContentResolver resolver = getContentResolver();
Uri uriGmail = Uri.parse("content://gmail/");
Cursor cursor = resolver.query(uriGmail, null, null, null, null);
.................
function resolver.query(xxx) returns null;

how can I implement those features? Thanks a lot.

BR,
-Jiang

1. trying to get Hello Android tutorial to work

I'm on Mac OS X Leopard and installed the ADT plugin into Eclipse
Galileo. I followed all these steps to get started:

http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

My SDK version is 2.2 API 8 revision 2 and I just used the Hello World
tutorial found here:

http://developer.android.com/resources/tutorials/hello-world.html

When I first created the Android application, I saw this error in the
Eclipse console:

[2010-11-13 18:20:43 - HelloAndroid] ERROR: Unable to open class
file /
Users/mydirectory/Documents/workspace/HelloAndroid/gen/com/example/
helloandroid/R.java: No such file or directory

I commented out this line to fill in the few lines from the tutorial:

setContentView(R.layout.main);

When I ran the app, it launched my emulator but all I saw was a
vertical screen on the left that said "ANDROID" and phone buttons on
the right. I did not see the "Hello, Android" text from the
tutorial.

Any ideas?

      1. In the list, the network looks as connected.
      2. wireless icon appears at the top of the screen.
      3. security type is wep
      4. user and password are ok (checked with several phones and
notebooks)
      5. good signal (less than 1 meter of the wifi router)

    But, when I tried to use opera, or Android market, or whatever, I
