Drawing lines/shapes with Canvas that glow

I am working on a 2d interface and find the process pretty straight
forward. However, I want to jazz it up a bit by drawing lines that
appear to "glow". That is, lines that will be white in the middle and
the diffuse out to a darker color. Photoshoppers might recognize this
as the outer glow effect.

Is this possible as part of the standard API? If not, I guess the
solution might be to extend the class so that it draws lines along
side the original on both sides that darken in color to simulate the
effect.

2. Having multiple gridviews in a activity

hi guys,

I am tyring to get many gridview of images in an activity. The problem
is i will get scrollbar for each such gridview. So is there anyway i
can get a single scrollbar for entire activity and still smoothly
scroll from one gridview to another (with some demarcation between 2
grids ).

I tried having gridviews inside a ScrollView but there is that same
problem.
do i need to create customview or something..??

Thanks in advance
