 Has anyone built a Sreetview Intent?

I tried the following and don;t see what is wrong:

  String uriString =
"google.streetview:cbll=44.640381,-63.575911&cbp=1,90,,0,1.0";
                                Uri uri = Uri.parse(uriString);
                                startActivity(new Intent
(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, uri));

Anybody have any suggestions or a working snippet?

 The following code snippet works for me:

        Intent myIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, Uri.parse
("google.streetview:cbll=" + lat +
                "," + lon + "&cbp=1,180,,0,1.0"));
        startActivity(myIntent);

Note that street views are "narrowly" draw along streets.

 Thanks for the snippet,

Now I tried to mimic your example with the following code but it still
crashes when the button is pressed:

                button3.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener()
                {
                        public void onClick(View v)
                        {
                                double lat = 44.640381;
                                double lon =-63.5759;
                                streetIntent     = new
Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, Uri.parse
                                          ("google.streetview:cbll=" + lat +
                                                          "," + lon +
"&cbp=1,180,,0,1.0"));
                                startActivity(streetIntent);

                        }
                }

I'll keep looking for another problem, as this Intent format looks OK.
I have a shaky wireless signal this evening and that couldn't help.

 ps. Hmm, maybe my lat/long are not specific enough. I entered the
coordinates for my house and I know there is a streetview site on the
street directly in front..With Google driving directions, it takes you
to the nearest road. |i figured streetview worked the same way. But
maybe you have to target the exact location of the camera icon. Does
anybody know?

 Another observation. When I went to the emulator's opening screen and
selected Mapsm then switched to Streetview mode on the menu, well it
brought up the thumbnail but then crashed when I selected it, the same
way as my app. I;m using 1.5r1 and maybe streetview needs a newer
version like 1.6 to work?

2. Devlopers here comes the Testers

Hi everyone,

I am Ninad as i mentioned my name., I have some strange questions for
you but it might be useful for all of Us..

I am into the testing field since last 6 years and observed that most
of the OS devolopers have their testcases online like...

For Symbian
http://developer.symbian.com/wiki/display/pub/Testing+Guide

For WinCE

http://www.qualitylogic.com/Contents/Independent-Software-Vendors/Products-Services/Designed-for-Windows-Mobile/DFWM-Handbooks.aspx

For Java applications

http://www.javaverified.com/docs.jsp

This things speaks about how and what need to be confirm for quality
of the application. moreover it helps user get better platform or
pleasure in using the application that we devolop. and it is key to
business that we hold on to our customers as customers strive only for
best and kick out the things that does not confirm to their quality.

So on and On my dear friends chalk out some plans for Android so we
can make it a big Success i am also doing the same will share you
shortly the outcome but need your response before we go and Chalkout
something trully open source ;-)

Waiting for your replies
